Solar carport questions
Does a carport require a permit?
This depends on the size and location of the carport. We will check this during the design process.
Can battery storage be included?
Yes. We select a compatible hybrid inverter and battery for the property. Storage capacity and backup requirements are discussed separately.
Can I charge an electric vehicle?
Yes. An EV charger can be included in the carport. The charger and power management are selected to suit the vehicle and the property’s electricity supply.
Is a solar carport suitable for an existing home?
A carport can be designed for an existing home. During the site visit we assess the available space, electrical connection and layout.
Can the solar system be expanded later?
Expansion depends on the structure, inverter, electrical connection and chosen equipment. If future expansion is planned, we discuss it during design.
