Advanced settings
ESO settlement methods and calculation assumptions
Retrieval fee
You export your energy to the grid and retrieve it later. Retrieving 1 000 kWh at 0,0726 € would cost 72,60 €.
Settlement in energy
Of 1 000 kWh exported 370 kWh remains with ESO, 630 kWh is yours. There is no additional €/kWh retrieval fee. You pay for the service with a share of your energy.
Surplus purchase
The supplier buys energy at the agreed price. For example, 1 000 kWh × 0,07 € = 70 €. You purchase the electricity you need later separately.
How net billing works ↗The calculator treats retrieval fees and the share retained by ESO as alternative scenarios. Energy used directly on site does not enter the grid.
Annual balance for the selected method. Payback uses the same tariff assumption for the whole year; seasons, export limits, tariff changes, degradation, equipment replacement and financing are not modelled. This is a scenario, not a return guarantee.

From equipment selection to backup power.
Can an electric car be charged with solar energy?
Yes, where equipment and controls are designed for it. We assess the solar installation, charger and energy metering. Surplus management and power limits depend on specific models. We can select a charger for your existing system or plan everything together.
Are the prices shown on the website final?
Prices are “from” and include VAT. The final price depends on the models, mounting system and site. We provide an exact quotation within 1–2 working days of receiving the required information.
Can I buy equipment without installation?
Yes, we offer 5, 10, 15 and 20 kW equipment-only packages. Electrical connections, measurements and other qualified work must be carried out by appropriately qualified specialists.
Can storage be connected to an existing solar installation?
Often yes, but it depends on the specific inverter and battery models. We check compatibility free of charge. Settings or firmware updates, extra equipment or inverter replacement may be needed.
Does the solar installation supply power during a grid outage?
Not automatically. You need a system supporting backup mode, a battery with suitable power and designed grid isolation. Different hybrid and AC-coupled architectures are possible; we agree these during design.
Is a building permit required?
We check requirements before agreeing the work. Requirements depend on the building, location and work involved. Protected or heritage areas and structural modifications may require additional approvals. Let's discuss your site beforehand. VTPSI information ↗.
What should I do if the inverter or battery fails?
Contact us with the model, serial number, error code and purchase document. We arrange assessment of warranty claims under the manufacturer's terms and advise on possible temporary solutions.

Cloud cover does not indicate cloud thickness. Assumptions: south-facing modules, 35° tilt and 18 % system losses. Shading, snow and site-specific conditions are not included. Changing capacity or city recalculates the estimate for the available forecast period.
